NYLA Outfits !

Hello!

Its been a long time since I've updated NYLA's blog so I guess its high time I put up a post here :) I know I've been flooding our FB page with my outfit shots and Im afraid you all will get sick of it so I'll put most of the shots here instead? Unless its regarding new stock then Im sure you would like to be kept updated so those shots will still be in FB. Also I've noticed some NYLA pieces on a few of you ladies' FB and I'd like to say.. you're rockin' 'em babes!! Would realy realy realy like to come up with a NYLA & Me scheme and put some time into featuring you gorgeous gals in this space but not sure if you girls are keen? Come on girls- dont be shy :) Be confident of yourself and of trying out different looks. Heck Im no fashionista. But trying out different outfits and playing dress up makes me happy & Im sure you feel the same too right so why not share the joy! If you've got NYLA outfits you'd like to be featured send it to us at nyla.sg@gmail.com with a short write up on your outfit and what you love about it. Everymonth I'll choose 2-3 winners who'll get $5 off their next purchase.

Im going to start the ball rolling...

OLA MAXI SKIRT

I know you've seen these pictures already but just wanted to touch more on the maxi skirts that we've been featuring on NYLA. Seems like the maxi skirts are part of fall's offerings and Im not complaining... Apart from being mother-in-law friendly (hehehe) they're also comfyyy fun to match with! Im more of a dressy chick so you'd catch me in town wearing the outfit on the left with heels but the casual look on the right is definitely growing on me. Girls if I were to share something....get yourself a black Obi belt! Im telling you it will be the best investment in a belt ever cos Obi belts (easily found in Zara, H&M, F21) are the best thing to accesories any dress/skirt outfit. It cinches your waist, giving you a defined silhoutte but is not distracting since it has no buckles etc.

Ok I digressed so yes.. Maxi skirts.. The above Ola skirts come in a deep wine red and also a forest green (as seen above). Made of smooth chiffon fully with full length lining.. Very airy breezy feeling (oh dear I realy stink at descriptions - but I hope you get what Im saying!) when you walk in it. Eera loves the red one and I just cant decide which one I like better. Comes with a belt so at $29 i think its a realy great deal. Comes in sizes too: S & M so choose what fits you best :) Go smaller for a high waisted look like me or choose medium for a comfortable hipster skirt. Either way just remember to 'swish' it like Eera in the studio shots! :p

Another maxi skirt that we had last launch that I think is an abso great buy is the Crepe Skirt. You have to buy it to know what Im talking about & the girls who have already got their hands on one will agree :)

Our first NYLA & Me Entry : Mas in the Crepe Skirt

One of our lovely NYLA ladies (hmm I have to think of  a name for us! NYLEENS? NYLAYS? hahah!) Mas, in my fav Crepe skirt! She's put her own touch to the outfit with a flutter sleeve top and a belt! We Likey! I am super super suppeerrr won over by the pink cos its so sweeeeeet. Perfect Sunday outfit! Looking great Mas :))

If you want to get your hands on a skirt- we do have the Pink left in S&M & Electric (Blue) in M.

Last outfit picture...
Freya Blazer

Its the Freya Blazer (with animal print lining!) ! Blazer's are now everyday wear and I wore this out on a windy day to tapao some McD's (as you can tell !heh). No need for stuffy white collared shirts or silk camisoles- nowadays all you need with your blazers are simple tees - I chose polka dots!. Great with skinnies or the latest weekender pants , shorts or dresses; the possibilities are endless! Black was all sold during the launch but I could try and get some backorderes if you're keen. We also have it in a sweet dusty pink thats great with jeans or white dresses....

More pictures of eveything that you see here at :www.nyla.sg under : What's available :))

More outfits coming up & do keep your photos coming pleaseee!
